DRESS WITH ANYA is a personal stylist and wardrobe consulting company in Portland, Maine who specializes in one-on-one style consultations throughout New England.  She offers helpful tips and tricks on how to find stylish outfits within your own closet and in stores, thereby minimizing spending and maximizing your wardrobe opportunities.  As a former ballet dancer and current fashion model, she helps her clients discover the grace and elegance to finish their look. Anya believes that everybody deserves to look their very best, every day.

Anya McGuckin began ballet classes at the age of 7 and modeling school at the age of 16 in her home country of Russia and soon took part in many fashion shows, beauty contests, and magazine/television shoots. She worked with many famous designers and photographers in St. Petersburg, Moscow as well as internationally in Spain, Italy, Turkey and India. She also worked as a personal assistant to a very successful Russian businessman in St. Petersburg gaining crucial management insights and business experience. For two years Anya worked as the import manager for the Russian franchise of Carlos&Albert, a world-renowned Mexican art and jewelry house. Anya continues to dance ballet, most recently at the “Isadora” ballet school in St. Petersburg and the Portland Ballet Company school. The insights that Anya received from years of work in the fashion industry combined with her practical experience in business and grace gained from years of ballet provide a strong basis for DRESS WITH ANYA.
